By Road
The village of Ashton under Hill is about 5 miles south west of Evesham in Worcestershire, half a mile west of the A46 trunk road.
The A46 runs past Ashton under Hill, from junction 15 of the M40 motorway at Warwick (about 28 miles away) to junction 9 of the M5 motorway at Tewkesbury (about 6 miles away)
If you are using a satellite navigation system we suggest you enter the post code WR11 7SW which will bring you to the main street of Ashton under Hill. (If approaching on the A46 from the south west please ignore instructions to turn into Back Lane, but instead take the next turning on the left: The Groaten)
Approaching from the north on the M5 motorway, you can take the A44 trunk road to Evesham from junction 6 (about 21 miles). Then follow the A46 south.
Coming from the south east, you may follow the A44 from Oxford through Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Moreton in Marsh to Evesham. Then follow the A46 south.
By Rail
The nearest railway stations are at Evesham, on the Oxford to Worcester and Hereford line from London Paddington, or at Ashchurch (for Tewkesbury) on the Birmingham – Cheltenham and Bristol line.
